Tulips

Central New York’s first you cut tulip field starts with planting 50,000 new bulbs every Fall. In Spring we start to see the bulb leaf out and develop the tulip’s stem and bud. And by May they are showing color and ready to be cut. Cutting start dates are determined  by the temperature and amount of sunshine.

We usually will try to coordinate picking with Mother’s Day. More details to come.

Blueberries

Located directly behind the market is 6 acres of mature blueberry bushes that are ready to be pickled by early July through late August. Picking buckets are provided. Cost is per pound.
